SHEA HOMES LAUNCHES “READ TO SUCCEED” SUMMER READING PROGRAM (Chandler, AZ – June 4, 2008) Shea Homes has just announced that they are launching the “Shea Homes Read to Succeed” Summer Reading Program. The company is working with the Chandler Public Library to develop a summer program that will encourage parents to read with their children. This is one of Shea Home’s key initiatives and supports their “Read with Your Child 15 Minutes a Day,” program and leverages their sponsorship of the Curious George program on PBS. The “Shea Homes Read to Succeed” program will be offered to children between three and six years of age and will run for five weeks (excluding the 4th of July holiday week). The program will commence on Saturday, June 14 at 9:30 a.m. Each Saturday, a representative from the Chandler Public Library will gather with children for 30 minutes at the Shea Home sales office at Painted Trails in Old Stone Ranch, located south of Ocotillo between Gilbert & Lindsay Roads.
