Lennar Opens Models for New Solar Community, Terraza at San Elijo Hills

Lennar will unveil the model homes at its new neighborhood of energy-efficient homes at Terraza in San Elijo Hills on June 26, 2010. The two-story homes, which range from 2,182 to 2,721 square feet, feature an extensive package of energy-saving features, including a SunPower® solar system. Homes in the first phase are priced from the mid $500,000s.
Terraza at San Elijo Hills offers three luxurious floor plans with three to five bedrooms and a diverse range of architecture that reflects Spanish Colonial, French Country, Craftsman and Prairie styles. The sales office is located at Wild Canyon Road and Festival Road in San Marcos, California.

California Center for Sustainable Energy Brings its Green Learning Adventure to Pardee's Manzanita Trail for Earth Month

The Center for Sustainable Energy, a non profit based in San Diego, brought its Green Learning Adventure program to Pardee Homes' Manzanita Trail. Visitors had a blast riding the 'pedal power' bike and learning how to save energy in their own home. Manzanita Trail features Pardee's Living Smart(R) program of earth-friendly feature and options and was named California Green Builder's 2009 Residential Community of the Year.
