The National Association of Home Builders’ Builder Magazine showcased McCaffrey Homes’ Madison Place as a “success story” in its August issue and praised the community’s flexibility, craftsmanship and style. This is the third national industry award for Madison Place this year.
Editor Jenny Sullivan said, “It may be impossible to be all things to all people, but Madison Place has proven to be a lot of things to a lot of people.” The magazine said the plans can be personalized “to accommodate spaces such as a formal dining room, hobby room, guest suite, extra garage space or universal design suite.”
Builder also reported, “Flexible floor plan configurations have allowed this community in California’s Central San Joaquin Valley to hit a broad spectrum of buyers, from first timers, to move-ups, to empty-nesters. Five plans and three elevation styles (Craftsman, French Country, and Tuscan) serve as the base, but factor in the myriad room options and buyers ultimately have a choice of more than 80 different plan variations.”
The magazine noted that buyers can easily explore the options on McCaffrey Homes’ website with online interactive floor plans.
Builder Magazine also paid tribute to the rich exteriors at Madison Place: “Buyers have taken note of the community’s well-articulated facades, complete with exposed rafter tails, wrought ironwork, crisp window and door trim, generous use of brick and stone and window mullions and shutters styled to fit their respective elevations. Each home feels special, and the cumulative effect is major streetscape appeal.”
“We are delighted to receive this national recognition,” said Lauren McCaffrey, vice president of marketing for the company. “Builder Magazine is regarded as the Bible of the industry. Madison Place was featured in the section called, ‘Success Stories – Innovative Ideas with Proven Results.’ What an honor!”
This is the third major recognition Madison Place has earned this year. McCaffrey Homes won a Gold Nugget Award of Merit at the Pacific Coast Builders Conference in San Francisco in June. The “Tuscan Castle” model at Madison Place was honored in the “Best Single-Family Detached Home under 2,500 square feet” category. The Gold Nugget competition honors creative achievements in architectural design and land use planning for residential, commercial and industrial projects in the 14 Western states and from foreign countries.
The Tuscan Castle model was also honored this year with a Gold Award from The Nationals, a competition sponsored by the National Association of Home Builders.
The Tuscan Castle plan is one of five floorplans offered at Madison Place. Madison Place homes are located in two prime communities. In Clovis’ pedestrian-friendly Loma Vista community, the homes are priced from $260,990; and in northwest Fresno, they are priced from $229,990. Nearly 100 homes have been sold since sales began last year.
The neighborhood features four single- and two-story floorplans that range from 1,457 to 3,357 square feet and include up to five bedrooms, four baths and three-car garages.
