DEL MAR, Calif. (June 9, 2009) – Five new home sales in the last week of May brought San Diego builder Brookfield Homes to a total of 13 sales for the month, according to Lora Heramb, vice president of sales and marketing for Brookfield Homes San Diego/Riverside division.
“Recent sales at our new home neighborhoods in Riverside and San Diego reflect the success of state and federal tax credits now available,” Heramb said. “We think there will be even more first-time buyers coming into the market now that the $8,000 federal tax credit may be used toward a down payment or to cover closing costs. • Four new homes sold at Cordova at Windingwalk in Chula Vista.
• Two new homes sold at Mahogany at Old Creek Ranch in San Marcos.
• Three new homes sold at Ironwood at Morningstar Ranch in Murrieta.
• One new home sold at Acacia at Morningstar Ranch in Murrieta.
• One new home sold at Serenity at The Estates at StoneBridge in San Diego near Poway.
• One new home sold at Calabria at the Estates at StoneBridge in San Diego.
