All eight homes are available to close in April or May, making buyers eligible to qualify for either $8,000 in federal tax credits for first-time homebuyers or $6,500 in federal tax credits for move-up homebuyers. Buyers must be on contract by April 30 and close by June 30 or they don’t qualify for the credit. Many builders don't have homes available to allow the credit.
The availability of low interest rates also has been a motivating factor for Veranda® buyers.
