Stirling Sotheby’s International Realty Appointed Exclusive Sales and Marketing Agents for 93-Acre Osceola Parkway Site--Agency Plans Unique Global Marketing Push to Solicit “Best and Highest Offering” by Sept. 30

ORLANDO, Fla. --- Stirling Sotheby’s International Realty was recently named exclusive sales and marketing agents for a 93-acre development site (Project Brochure) located on Osceola Pkwy. and C.R. 535/Vineland Rd. in Osceola County.

Roger Soderstrom, owner and founder of Stirling Sotheby’s International Realty (www.StirlingSIR.com,)   said the property---within the Legacy Resort development where county officials once planned to build the Osceola County convention center---is one of the most unique development sites in the southeast entertainment tourist corridor. Fully developed and surrounding a majestic water feature, the site comes fully entitled to permit 1,018 hotel, condominium or time share units, Soderstrom said.

Stirling Sotheby’s International Realty developed a unique marketing plan for the property, Soderstrom said.

“The seller is interested in selling the site without delay,” Soderstrom explained. “We will solicit Best and Highest Offering bids for the property that are due by Sept. 30.”

Melissa Rodriguez, a commercial specialist with Stirling Sotheby’s International Realty’s Windermere-Dr. Phillips real estate gallery, is representing the sellers of the property.

A Best and Highest Offering, a popular way to sell large commercial properties in Europe, is somewhat similar to a silent auction---bidders submit their proposed price and terms without knowing what other bidders might be contemplating.

Within the next few weeks, Stirling Sotheby’s International will solicit Best and Highest offers locally, nationally and internationally.

“Our approach is somewhat unique in the U.S., but it will prove the best approach for the seller and for prospective buyers.  Everyone is looking for a deal in today’s market and our seller wants to sell,” he said.

“This site is the crown jewel of the nearly 1,000-acre Legacy Resort property,” Soderstrom added. “It already has a worldwide reputation, and we anticipate we will see worldwide interest in acquiring it for a resort hotel development.”
