Wednesday, July 16, 2008 / Rolling Hills Ranch

ONLY NINE HOMES REMAIN AT PROVENCE IN ROLLING HILLS RANCH

Provence, the gated luxury neighborhood that combines elegance with country living and was inspired by the picturesque region of France that bears its name, is nearly sold out with only nine of the 48 residences available for purchase at the resort-style community of Rolling Hills Ranch in Chula Vista.

"These semi-custom homes are some of the finest we have offered in Southern California and we are very pleased so many buyers have been able to make Provence theirs," said Michael Sabourin, president of Cornerstone Communities, the builder. "Those who cannot wait to call Provence home should inquire immediately about the remaining available residences."

Positioned on oversized lots averaging 18,000 square feet, Provence homes are sized from 4,345 to 5,955 square feet and offer up to seven bedrooms and six baths, with up to four-car garages. Designed by award-winning Starck Architecture and Planning, the homes showcase Santa Barbara, French Country or a California Coastal style.

The remaining residences offer first-class appointments for buyers looking for the utmost in luxury. Residence One features a study and a bonus room with a deck, while Residence Two features an interior courtyard with a fireplace and staircase to the second level, a study, loft and one-story casita. The grandiose Residence Three offers 5,390 to 5,955 square feet of sumptuous living space, including an intimate courtyard, a two-story casita with kitchen, dining room, open loft, bathroom, and a fireplace in the luxurious master-bedroom retreat.

Prices begin in the mid-$900,000s and a broker co-op is also being offered.

The Provence sales office is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except Mondays when the office opens at 1.  For more information on Provence, please call (619) 656-0284 or visit cornerstonecommunites.com.

As the summer months progress, Provence residents are taking advantage of the private Coastal Hills Swim Club.  The Tuscan-themed swim club features a large spa, junior Olympic-size pool, children's wading pool, barbecue area and a patio area, paved with natural stone surrounded by palm, pepper and olive trees.

"You don't have to be a die-hard swimmer in order to utilize this outstanding facility," said Sabourin.  "The Coastal Hills Swim Club is an enjoyable amenity for residents of all ages and preferences."

Rolling Hills Ranch is also home to Thurgood Marshall Elementary School, MacKenzie Creek Neighborhood Park and the sprawling 28-acre Montevalle Community Park.  Montevalle Community Park boasts multipurpose fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, an off-leash dog area, archery and skate area, gymatorium and a 20,000-square-foot community center.

Nearby Rolling Hills Ranch is Salt Creek Golf Club, formerly The Auld Golf Course and one of eastern Chula Vista's best-kept secrets.  This golf course is one of the little known gems of golf in the South County.  Panoramic views of rolling Southern California countryside all the way to the Pacific Ocean combine with 18 distinctive holes from five sets of tees to make an

exceptional golf experience.

To reach Rolling Hills Ranch, take East H Street off Interstate 805 in Chula Vista and head east approximately six miles.  Follow the signs to the Rolling Hills Ranch community.  For more information, visit www.rollinghillsranchcv.com.

Rolling Hills Ranch is being developed by The Corky McMillin Companies, which is currently developing five master-planned communities in Southern California, and is the proud developer of Liberty Station, voted Base Redevelopment Community of the Year by the Association of Defense Communities.  For more information, visit mcmillin.com.
