CHICAGO—Once upon a time, interior designer Ann Cullinane and her husband were city folks, who moved out to the suburbs to raise a family.

On Wednesday, December 17, 2008, developer Paul McGowan of Hospitality 3 answers New Haven’s need for more upscale lodging with the Grand Opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for The Study at Yale. This new luxury boutique hotel is enviably located on the campus of Yale University. At 4 pm, New Haven Mayor John DeStefano will join Mr. McGowan to cut a ceremonial ribbon at the entrance of the 124-room hotel at 1157 Chapel Street.
