TRI Pointe Homes Mobile App

IRVINE, CA – Making home shopping easier than ever for users of smart phones and tablet computers, TRI Pointe Homes has launched a new mobile website that will give them instant access to the latest information about the company’s communities, home designs and current prices.

The mobile site may be reached at via both iPhone and Android browsers, and it enables home seekers to immediately call the sales office of any Tri Pointe Homes community to speak directly with a sales representative. It also features a link to Tri Pointe’s Facebook pages, where prospective buyers can learn what others think about the company’s homes and neighborhoods.

The introduction of TRI Pointe’s mobile website reflects the skyrocketing growth of smart phone and tablet usage in the past two years. According to the Pew Research Center’s Project for Excellence in Journalism, fully 44% of U.S. adults now have a smart phone, which is up from 35% in May 2011. In addition, 25% of U.S. adults own a tablet computer as compared to just 4% in September of 2010, and half of all adults now have Internet access through either a smart phone and/or tablet computer.

“Clearly, more and more people are relying on mobile devices to obtain the information they need to make informed home-buying decisions,” stated TRI Pointe Homes Principal Douglas Bauer. “Our new mobile website is designed to facilitate their decision-making process as quickly and helpfully as possible.”

TRI Pointe Homes is rapidly expanding throughout California and is preparing to introduce its first community in Colorado in 2013. In Southern California, the company is currently building Los Arboles in Simi Valley, Tamarind Lane at Rosedale in Azusa, Sagebluff and Topazridge at Riverwalk Vista in Riverside and Candera in San Marcos. The new community of Brio in La Habra is slated to make its debut in February. TRI Pointe Homes has also made its entry into Northern California with Chantrea at Silver Creek in San Jose and Ironhorse in Morgan Hill. They will be followed by the introduction of Avellino in Mountain View this summer.
