The Providence Group Demolishes Condominium Slab for Park at Sterling of Dunwoody

Tuesday, August 09, 2011 / The Providence Group

ATLANTA— The Providence Group announces that an existing, undeveloped condominium slab will be replaced by a new community park at Sterling of Dunwoody. The decision to tear out the existing slab was a joint decision between the existing lender and private equity group to enhance the community and provide additional amenities for current and future homeowners. Demolition is complete, landscaping is underway and construction of the park is slated to be completed this summer.

“We are extremely excited about this development: The new community park will not only enhance the aesthetics of Sterling of Dunwoody, but it will also provide homeowners with a sense of stability,” said Warren Jolly, owner and president of The Providence Group. “Removing the condo slab and replacing it with a place of enjoyment was the best decision for the community, and created the most value for our homeowners.”

The community park will include a dog park, raised vegetable garden plots, raised natural seating area overlooking an outdoor amphitheatre, outdoor kitchen with grill and counterspace and lighted dining patio area with an abundance of seating. Many condominium communities do not have greenspace, making the park addition a unique and desirable feature within this development.

Other community amenities include a pool, clubhouse with fitness center, outdoor fireplace, community room with a full kitchen and private, gated entrance. Residents also enjoy a low maintenance lifestyle with affordable HOA fees.

Sterling of Dunwoody is composed of one, two and three bedroom condominiums. The move-in ready homes at Sterling of Dunwoody have been reduced recently and are now priced from $174,900 to $207,900.

Currently, the community has 15, two bedroom and two bathroom condominiums available for an immediate move-in. Homes range from approximately 1,400 to 1,500 square feet and boast many luxurious standard features such as gas fireplaces, built-ins, 9-foot ceilings in the main, second and third level,10-foot ceilings in the top-floor level homes, 8-foot doors, stately columns, heavy trim, site-finished solid wood flooring, window blinds, tile bathrooms with raised double vanities and gourmet kitchens with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, tile backsplashes and gas cooking.

In addition to the home features, buyers will be impressed with the community’s elegant corridors with columns and elaborate trim that create a Ritz Carlton feel.
