Epcon Communities Announces - Condos for a Cure

Epcon Communities, the nation’s number one for sale attached home builder announced they have joined the Susan G. Komen Foundation in “Condos for A Cure.”


Epcon Communities will donate $1,000.00 for every home sold in one of its six central Ohio communities to the Susan G. Komen Foundation during the month of October.


“We are proud to join Susan G. Komen in their fight against breast cancer” said Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Nanette Overly.  Overly went on to say “it is difficult to find anyone whose life has not been touched in some way by this disease; either by a friend, neighbor, spouse, mother, sister, daughter or coworker.  Condos for a Cure provides a way for Epcon Communities to help in this fight.


The six central Ohio Epcon Communities participating in Condos for a Cure are the Woods at Hayden Run in Hilliard, the Villas at Glenealy in Dublin, the Village of North Falls just north of Worthington, Canterbury Woods in Westerville, the Woods at Sugar Run in New Albany and Cobblestone at the Preserve in New Albany. 


Epcon Communities will also host an open house on Sunday October 25, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Woods at Sugar Run.  Attendees will hear from survivor Kelly Daum as Kelly shares her personal fight against the disease.  Tim Maurer of Mukha Salon & Day Spa will be on hand to discuss ways that women can take care of themselves while undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments.  Reps from Komen Columbus will also be on hand.
