The festive Grand Opening celebration at Braden Court in Clovis last weekend attracted homebuyers from throughout the Central Valley.  Hundreds of interested home shoppers toured the four new model homes at the boutique community, ranging from 1,215 to 1,883 square feet with up to four bedrooms and three baths, while being treated to live remote broadcasts by Alice 96.7 and Kiss Country.

“We were thrilled with the turnout, our first weekend of sales, and the response to our floorplans,” says Lauren McCaffrey Knowlton, vice president of marketing at McCaffrey Homes. “With both single- and two-story models, we have a broad spectrum to offer homebuyers.”

According to Ms. Knowlton, the most frequent comments she received about the floorplans were that they’re very spacious, well designed, and feel like home. Home shoppers were also pleasantly surprised to learn that the homes are valued packed with price-included features such as granite kitchen island and countertops, beech cabinets, ceramic tile flooring and more. Fully landscaped front and rear yards in a choice of cottage, Mediterranean and Provence landscape designs are also included in the purchase price.

Priced from the low $200,000’s, Braden Court is the most affordable new home community in Loma Vista, a master-planned urban village with tree-lined walking/biking trails just steps from each home and three quaint community parks sure to inspire neighborly interaction. The community is designed to reflect the small town charm of Clovis. “Best of all, there are no HOA dues,” Knowlton says.

A variety of lot sizes, including pool-sized lots, break the rules of a typical neighborhood design. The unique neighborhood configuration also features lots adjacent to the walking trail, creating rear yard private space of 50 feet or more to the nearest neighbor.    Three timeless exterior elevation styles feature Craftsman, Italian and French architecture, carefully planned to include a variety of brick, stone or precast wainscot. Low-maintenance yards are designed to free up time for family life and leisure pursuits.

The homes also offer greener living through smarter design, with McCaffrey Homes’ Earth Sense program – an innovative, whole house system approach to environmental responsibility and higher energy efficiency. Every Earth Sense home includes dozens of cutting-edge energy saving features, like Johns Manville “spider insulation” in the exterior walls, blown-in attic insulation, high performance ENERGY STAR® qualified windows and appliances, tankless water heaters, and more. Plus, the homes are third party verified by ENERGY STAR® and GreenPoint Rated, assuring homeowners of improved air quality and higher energy efficiency.

Braden Court is located in the Clovis Unified School District and is within walking distance of Reagan Education Center with grades K through 12. This vibrant, family-oriented community is located just minutes from Sierra Vista Mall, historic Old Town Clovis – with shopping, dining, entertainment, as well as nearby medical facilities, including Clovis Community Hospital and St. Agnes Medical Center. With easy freeway access to Highway 168 and connection to Highways 99, 41 and 180, Braden Court commuters have a short drive to work, while weekend getaways to nearby mountain and lake recreational facilities are less than an hour away.

Braden Court’s Welcome Center is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., daily, at Ashlan and Locan in Clovis’s Loma Vista.  For more information about Braden Court, visit online at or call (559) 291-7544.
