With Direct Service To Manhattan

MORRISTOWN, N.J –  Leasing is underway at The Highlands at Morristown Station, a new rental building featuring 217 upscale residences located in the heart of downtown Morristown, N.J.

Part of the state’s Transit Village Program, which encourages development at and around major train centers, the new five-story elevator building is ideally situated at the intersection of Morris Street and Lafayette Avenue adjacent to the historic Morristown Train Station which offers direct service to midtown Manhattan, according to its developer, Rosewood – a joint venture between Roseland Property Company and Woodmont Properties.

The striking new building also features nearly 6,000 square feet of private amenity space, more than 8,000 square feet of street-level retail space and a convenient six-story enclosed parking garage.

“The Highlands at Morristown Station offers an exciting new alternative for enjoying the celebrated lifestyle of downtown Morristown,” notes Debra Tantleff, a Vice President at Roseland Property Company.

“A wide range of floorplans opens the community up to renters in a variety of price points who will appreciate the exceptional value found here in terms of upscale finishes, superb amenities and services and a convenient location.”

Twenty different one- and two-bedroom layouts ranging from 661 to 1,347 square feet of living space are available.  Found among the floor plans, which are priced from $1,718 to $3,190 a month, are private balconies, nine-foot ceilings, wall-to-wall carpeting, full size stacked washers and dryers, gourmet kitchens with maple cabinets and Maytag stainless steel appliances, and elegant baths with porcelain floors.

Apartments will also include high-speed Internet access, surround sound speakers and wiring for multiple telephone lines, while WiFi will be available in common areas.

“An at-home resort-like lifestyle will be fostered by such onsite amenities as an outdoor heated swimming pool and landscaped plaza, a Club Room with a large screen Plasma TV and full entertainment system, billiard table and bar; a fitness center with cardio-vascular and state-of-the-art weight-lifting equipment, and a resident business center with a conference area, computer stations and Internet access,” notes Brenda Cioce, President of Residential Services for Roseland Property Company.

“Residents will also appreciate our location next to the Morristown Train Station which makes The Highlands a commuter’s dream.  Just steps away is the famed Morristown Green and its year-long offering of events and scenic leisurely pursuits, as are countless restaurants, cafes, bars, boutique shops, the Community Theater and so much more.”

Roseland Management Company, which manages approximately 5,537 residential apartments, is handling all residential maintenance and leasing duties.
