New Design Adds Affordability, Character to the Mays Landing Neighborhood.

MAYS LANDING, NJ --Lennar announced today that it is introducing a new three-bedroom home design to its Cedar Point community in Mays Landing, giving homebuyers their most affordable opportunity yet to join the elegant South Jersey neighborhood.

The new design, known as “The Henley”, is a three-bedroom, two-bath layout.   Priced at $262,950, the home offers a two-car front garage, 1,643 square feet of living space and a number of stylish interior details. A designer kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel Double Bowl sink and a breakfast nook offers both convenience and luxury. The kitchen exits into a well-appointed dining room on one side and a large great room on the other side.

The master bedroom suite down the hall offers comfort and relaxation, including a private bath and large, walk-in closet. The master bath suite features decorator vanity cabinets, marble countertops, a powder room pedestal sink and a tub with ceramic platform.

Homebuyers have the option of purchasing either a finished or unfinished basement. The finished version comes with a furnished family room, fourth bedroom and a third bathroom.           “We’re delighted to introduce The Henley to the great community we have at Cedar Point,” said Don Bompensa, President of Lennar’s New Jersey Division. “Not only does it offer buyers yet another option to choose from, but also adds character and diversity to our attractive streetscape.”

Lennar offers four other home designs at Cedar Point: The Brighton, The Berkshire II, The Brentwood and the Carlisle. These models range from 2,070 to 3,719 square feet and range in price from $289,950 to $374,950.

Cedar Point at Mays Landing features 173 single family homes conveniently located near the town center of Mays Landing in Atlantic County. The community offers “quick-occupancy” homes with nine-foot first floor ceilings, attractive landscaping and energy-efficient designs. A number of lavish details that are considered upgrades at other communities are standard at Cedar Point.

All homes come with maintenance-free Dutchlap vinyl siding, long-life aluminum gutters and downspouts, and 30-year warranty fiberglass roof shingles. Spacious concrete walkways, driveways and patios are also standard. The homes feature stained oak railings with painted balusters and engineered hardwood flooring in the kitchen, breakfast nook, powder room and two-story entrance foyer. The main living area includes wall-to-wall upgraded plush carpeting.

Cedar Point residents enjoy a relaxed shore-town lifestyle and convenient access to the Garden State Parkway and the Atlantic City Expressway. Top-notch boating, hiking and camping is just minutes away at nearby Lake Lenape Park and Gaskill Park.

The community has attracted a number of buyers from northern locations who are astounded to learn how much home they can get for their dollar in Atlantic County.

“Homebuyers from areas like Monmouth and Middlesex Counties have been some of our best customers at Cedar Point because of the relaxed lifestyle and tremendous value we offer,” Mr. Bompensa said. “Our newly-designed unit, The Henley, offers those buyers another way to save on a home purchase, without sacrificing comfort or luxury.”
