Mignatti Companies: Golf Club Estates at Heritage Creek adding three new golf holes

Wednesday, August 18, 2010 / Mignatti Companies

Heritage Creek Golf Club, adjacent to Golf Club Estates at Heritage Creek, a luxury estate home community in Warwick Township, Central Bucks County, announces it has broken ground for the construction of three new golf holes. The new holes are projected to be complete in 2011.

“The ongoing sales success at Golf Club Estates at Heritage Creek is further enhanced with construction  of three new holes that will now bring this beautiful  course to 50 percent completion,” stated Mignatti Companies’ President Steve McKenna. “The core layout of this one-of-a-kind public, pay-to-play course, centrally located in Bucks County, makes this an incredible destination for golfers in this area. The three new holes are located along the north side of the Little Neshaminy Creek in one of the most beautiful, natural Pennsylvania settings you will find anywhere. Once these holes are complete we will have a very challenging and enjoyable nine holes for play.

The remainder of the course will progress – on par, if you will – as we continue our commitment to completing the Golf Club Estates community.”

Golf Club Estates residents and the general public currently enjoy challenging play on holes six through eleven of the Heritage Creek Golf Club. The addition of holes three, four and five will offer nine full holes of golf on the course that players have dubbed “the gem of Bucks County.”

The new third hole is a par four that some pro’s could drive. This hole’s challenge lies in the second shot over a natural wetland separating the fairway from an undulating and extremely narrow green.

The 360-yard par-four fourth hole allows players to enjoy dramatic terrain and a pristine, isolated creek-side setting. The tee shot plays over a beautiful stretch of sloping fairway before it encounters a wide approach area, with the approach shot at the end of this dogleg right. The green sits in a low hollow surrounded by majestic towering trees, just on the other side of a narrow wetland.

The fifth hole is a 160 yard par-three that plays over the serene beauty of the  Little Neshaminy Creek meandering between the tee and green. The green is positioned on a diagonal from the tee, requiring a precise approach. This is one of Bucks County’s finest settings for golf.

The Heritage Creek Golf Club was designed by internationally recognized golf course architect Kelly Blake Moran who also designed Tres Vidas Country Club in Acapulco, Mexico, the site of the Senior PGA Chrysler Cup. Members of the public are welcome to play the completed six hole course anytime for a walking fee of $10 per golfer on weekdays and $12 on weekends. With two pin placements on each green to give a different look each time a hole is played, most golfers play two rounds (or 12 holes total) and get a great golf experience for less than they pay at an 18 hole course and in less time. Carts are always available for a nominal fee. Reservations are encouraged, and interested golfers can call (215) 674-8283 or visit www.HCGOLFCOURSE.com to reserve tee times up to one week in advance.

Mignatti’s Golf Club Estates at Heritage Creek new home community offers nine perfectly gorgeous home designs. The community is one-third sold out of its current phase.

Base home prices range from $499,900 to $799,900 and include spacious kitchens with granite countertops, nine foot first floor ceilings and luxurious master suites and master baths with soaking tubs. Media rooms, wet bars, exercise rooms, private libraries and scenic decks and patios are available and two home designs feature first-floor master suites. For a limited time only, home buyers can add a sunroom to their new home at no additional charge.

Most home sites back to dedicated open space or views of the golf course. An adjacent 50-acre public park with more than two miles of country-side walking paths and open space are designed to complement the fully completed neighborhood.
