Tuesday, March 08, 2016 / Pardee Homes

SAN DIEGO (March 4, 2016) The grand opening of Parkview by Pardee Homes is slated for early April.  This exciting collection of 73 new homes will bring detached two-story homes to the thriving Ocean View Hills community, noted for its convenience to downtown San Diego and all areas of the South County. Home shoppers can visit and join the Parkview interest list to receive important updates throughout the development of this new community

“These charming, eco-friendly homes are also located just a short drive from beautiful beaches, peaceful canyons and convenient shopping,” said Liz Ramirez, regional director of marketing for Pardee Homes.  “Parkview, with pedestrian-friendly trails and sidewalks that promote walkability within and around the community, will be a welcome addition to Ocean View Hills.”

Graced with a distinctive Spanish flair, all three floor plans will feature great room living, four to five bedrooms, attached two-bay garages and approximately 1,761 to 2,135 square feet. Each home will have its own backyard and private side yard, and a front yard that will be maintained by the homeowner’s association.  And like all new homes built by Pardee every home at Parkview will include the company’s LivingSmart® package of standard and optional eco-friendly features that increase energy-efficiency and save water as well as incorporating materials that come from recycled and sustainable resources. Pricing is anticipated to be from the $400,000s.

Located within the city of San Diego, Ocean View Hills offers homebuyers an established master-planned community located on a spectacular site in the burgeoning South County.  A proposed nine-acre public park with a variety of recreational opportunities and an overlook area is planned adjacent to Parkview in the northwest corner of the community and will provide residents and visitors with a passive recreation area and view of the natural open space into the Otay Valley Regional Park located to the north.

The community is surrounded by view-oriented terrain and features a host of amenities and services.  Ocean View Hills was first developed by Pardee Homes in 1998 and is neighbored by Otay Mesa to the east and Chula Vista to the west.   It is served by well-respected schools in the San Ysidro School District including Ocean View Hills Elementary located within the master-plan.
Ideally located south of downtown San Diego, Parkview is just off Dennery Road and close to Interstate 805 and 905, providing residents with easy access to freeways, shopping, dining, beaches, Baja California and downtown San Diego. Parkview is also in close proximity to Sleep Train® Amphitheatre and Aquatica, SeaWorld’s Waterpark™.
