Making a difference in the lives of others never gets old at
TRI Pointe Homes. The premier Northern California builder continued its
commitment to volunteerism with its recent visit to the Alameda County
Community Food Bank where team members sorted and bagged more than 22,000 lbs.
of apples that were then distributed among families throughout the region.
The Alameda County Community Food Bank serves one in five
Alameda County residents through an impressive network of 240 food pantries,
soup kitchens and day care centers. The effort was part of National Volunteer
Month in April.
“Our team loves it any time they have the chance to roll up
their sleeves and make big things happen,” said Susan Cleary, Marketing Manager
for TRI Pointe Homes. “Volunteering in this way fits perfectly with our mission
to serve Northern California families for their best health and happiness by
building homes and communities that feed the heart and the soul.”
Cleary shared that TRI Pointe Homes is dedicated to making
an impact in the lives of its families, friends and neighbors by giving back
and lending a hand wherever possible. Such opportunities include membership in
the City of Hope’s Construction Industries Alliances that gathers and donates
items for patients and families as they await care; supporting the HomeAid
Northern California Essentials drive with everyday items for families; and
participation in the Adopt a Dawg & Fundraising Faire where they collect
pet foot and pet supplies for shelter animals.
“This is truly an incredible group, dedicated to spreading a
spirit of goodwill to the very communities we daily serve,” said Cleary said.
“It’s a culture of giving that embraces everything that TRI Pointe Homes is
about.”
The company’s culture is evident. Ranked 33rd out
of 500 employers throughout the Bay Area region as an organization that has
established a vibrant workplace environment that is fun and collaborative, TRI
Pointe Home was recently named among The Bay Area’s Best Place to Work 2018 by
the San Francisco Business Times and the Silicon Valley Business Journal.
